The Truth Behind Mothers Day & Father's Day:

1st off let's learn the history about Mother day the origin on where it came from Let's go

Man's Way

Mother's Day dates back to ancient cultures in Greece and Rome. In both cultures, mother goddesses (Queen of Heaven). were worshiped during the springtime with religious festivals. The ancient Greeks paid tribute to the powerful goddess Rhea, the wife of Cronus, known as the Mother of the Gods (Queen of Heaven). Similarly, evidence of a three-day Roman festival in Mid-March called Hilaria, to honor the Roman goddess Magna Mater, or Great Mother, dates back to 250 BCE.

As Christianity spread throughout Europe, the celebration of the "Mother Church" replaced the pagan tradition of honoring mythological goddesses. The fourth Sunday in Lent (Weeping for Tammuz), a 40-day fasting period before Easter, became known as Mothering Sunday. To show appreciation for their mothers, they often brought gifts or a "mothering cake" (Jeremiah 7:18) and over time, it began to coincide with the celebration of the Mother Church. Mother's Day always falls on the second Sun-day of May, and like so many other holidays rooted in pagan sun-worship including Father's Day which always falls on the third Sun-day of June, usually fall on the day named in honor of their most powerful god -- The Sun!!!!

Matronalia - the Roman Festival of Motherhood

In ancient Rome, the holiday of Matronalia was celebrated each year at the beginning of March. This annual "festival of women" was held in honor of Juno Luciana, a goddess who watched over married women and those in childbirth. She was in charge of newborn infants, and a woman in labor might make offerings to her so that she would have a safe delivery of a healthy child. Gifts were exchanged, and everyone treated the ladies exceptionally well on this day -- it was a bit like a women's version of Saturnalia.
Later on, Matronalia evolved into Mother's Day in Europe, and was shifted to the fourth Sunday of Lent. During the Middle Ages, those who had moved away from home would return on this day to their "mother" church, visiting their families who still remained in the village. Servants were allowed to pick flowers from their masters' gardens, and given the day off to return home; hence, the custom of bringing one's mother some flowers on Mother's Day.

In the United States, Mother's Day actually falls in May, and is held in honor of humanitarian work carried out by women during the Civil War.

Father's Day was originally a pagan holiday, the Great Sky-Father's Day. Part of the week of celebrations leading up to the summer solstice, the day was give over to celebrating the Sky-Father's providing for his human children with his rich gifts of sun and rain. Gifts of sacrificial goats and sheep (recognizable by the festive ribbons bound about their necks) were supplemented with prayers for his continued guidance in the human journey towards spiritual adulthood. "

"The precise transition to the Father's Day we know today is lost in the mists of time, but it seems that several generations of Christian priests gradually attempted to neutralize the pagan rituals by focusing on the literal steps of the ceremonies, rather than their spiritual meanings. The passing of celebratory garlands from sons to fathers was retained, and reemphasized as the central act of the Great Sky-Father's celebration, rather than the sacrifices and prayers. As part of this reinterpretation, the practice of tying ribbons was moved from the animals to the fathers, and appears to be recognizably the origin of the custom of giving ties on Father's Day. "

"Every year, we buy flowers for other mothers and take them out to a nice lunch. It is the one day when Mom gets to be the center of attention, which is a rare spot to be for most mothers. Although we follow this tradition almost blindly, we should know a little about the origins of this honor-bound holiday."

"The ancient Greeks worshiped Rhea, who was the mother of all deities. Other ancient peoples had celebrations in honor of various goddesses, and most of them had an overarching celebration to worship the Goddess, and the best sources we have indicate that Mother’s Day traditions stem from these pagan roots."

"More modern traditions abound in England, where the people have Mothering Sunday during Lent. This holiday, which takes place on the fourth Sunday during the Lent season, is intended to honor earthly mothers. This tradition descends from the Celtic celebration throughout Britain honoring Brigid, the Celtic goddess."

"In the United States, Anna Jarvis is considered the founder of Mother’s Day. Her efforts to have mothers recognized with an official holiday began with her mother’s death in 1905. She started by passing out white carnations at her mother’s church in West Virginia and asking church pastors to lead services dedicated to mothers. St. Andrew’s Church in Grafton, West Virginia was the first to do so in 1908. The state of West Virginia followed St. Andrew’s example in 1912, when it became the first state to recognize the holiday."

"Jarvis worked tirelessly, even leaving her job, to convince politicians and business leaders that a holiday devoted to mothers would be beneficial. The United States Congress passed a resolution calling for Mother’s Day in 1914, and President Theodore Roosevelt signed the measure. Jarvis spent the rest of her life fighting against what Mother’s Day was becoming."

"Today’s Mother’s Day celebrations are a bit different from what Jarvis imagined. Mother’s Day has become commercialized more than Jarvis would have liked, but it is still a day when American honors their mothers."

Jeremiah 10:10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Jer 10:11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

no matter how you look at it mothers day is a pagan holiday and the God of Israel will destroy all those that continue to deal with it.

Exd 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

the origin of mothers day derives from worshiping pagan gods. Also Sunday is not the day that the lord sanctified.

Amo 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

A FRIEND OF MINES HAD SAID: Just because the holiday originated from a pagan area or idea doesn't mean it cant change because we do it to honor our mother's and I think God probably had forgot about that it was pagan and beside he knows my heart.

ME:THAT IS WRONG TO THE FULLEST THE MOST HIGH AND CHRIST SAID THEY DO NOT CHANGE THERE WAY AND PLUS DO YOU KNOW THAT YOUR HEART CAN DECEIVED YOU.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Hebrews 13:8 Yashaya /Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie;
Neither the son of man, that he should repent:Hath he said, and shall he not do it?
Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

1 Samuel 15:29 And also the * Strength of Israel i will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

Isaiah 55:8–9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
Neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts.

SO WITH THAT IN MIND IF THE HEAVENLY FATHER HATE THESE PAGAN HOLIDAYS ..SO BE IT!!! WHO ARE WE TO FUSS WITH SOMEONE WHO MIGHTY ,POWERFUL AND CAN JUDGE WHERE YOU GO FROM HERE IF YOU THINK YOU CAN GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

So ask yourself this question or better yet ask Pastor Pork-chop at your local Church why he never tell you that Mother's day is not of The Most High and that it is deep rooted with Pagan in it.people you better wake up and start doing your research and asking questions.

Now time to see what The Most Most Ahayah(I AM) has said to do.

Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy MOTHER: that thy DAYS may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Stop halfway following the Bible and follow the whole Book. If its not in the KJV Bible then don't do it, Listen to the Most High and his words or unless you fall victim to this verse, Colossians 2:8. Precept to Exodus 20:12: Leviticus 19:3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Matthew 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. Mark 7:10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: Luke 18:20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. Ephesians 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) For more info please visit www.IsraelitesUnite.com.
So as you can see The Most High said Honour your parents EVERYDAY and on top of that it's a COMMANDANT.....  So why do you need someone to tell you when to give thanks to them on every second Sunday of May on a Pagan Holiday called Mother's day???

The Most High had told us not to follow Pagans>Heathen>Gentiles Ways: Let's get it
Jeremiah 10:2

Therefore we must keep the commandments everyday. Not when a Satanic inspired world tells you to do so.

Deu 18:9 "When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations.

Deu 18:12 "For all who do these things [are] an abomination to the LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out from before you.

Mat 15:9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching [as] doctrines the commandments of men.' "

Deu 12:30 "take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying,'How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.'
